Toronto, ON, March 28, 2023 – S&A, a leading boutique Government Relations firm, has added former Director of Communications to Ontario’s Minister of Northern Development and Indigenous Affairs, Nicole Rafalovich, to its practice as a Senior Associate. She previously served as a Director of Communications to the Minister of Energy, Mines, Natural Resources, and Forestry.

Nicole was part of a leadership team that ushered in Ontario’s Critical Mineral Strategy which bolsters Ontario’s domestic processing and innovation in the space, while strengthening supply chains. She also played a key role in the successful launch and re-brand of the Northern Energy Advantage Program (NEAP), an initiative that is creating and sustaining Northern Ontario jobs to maintain the province’s global competitiveness.

Previous to her time Queen’s Park, Nicole served in strategic communications and public relations roles at the Israel Cancer Research Fund, and Redstone Agency. During this time, she was called on to develop strategic communications plans and execute public relations tactics for several high-profile events while building trust with c-suite partners.
