Toronto, ON, September 16, 2019 – Today Stosic & Associates, a boutique Canadian government relations firm specializing in highly regulated markets, bolstered its strategic position by adding seasoned Conservative government relations specialist Sadaf Abbasi to its team.
Sadaf arrives at S&A after most recently serving the Ontario Medical Association as a Manger of Government Relations and Issues Management. While at the OMA she was part of a team that helped navigate the association through multifaceted negotiations with the Ontario government and health sector stakeholders.
Preceding her time at the OMA, Sadaf honed her GR strategies and tactics while working in the political office of City of Toronto Councillor and Budget Chief Gary Crawford, advancing initiatives at City Council with support she crafted amongst a wide array of stakeholders.
“Adding Sadaf to our team further solidifies our already top tier GR practice with her savvy grassroots mobilization and policy-making know-how on large and complex files, especially in the health care space.” said Aleks Stosic, Founding Partner and CEO at S&A. “No doubt, her provincial and municipal experiences from the public, private and NGO realms will lend a balanced and dynamic repertoire of insights to our clients”
